Rear view is great, shame it hasn't got the grunt to back up the looks

Still looks fecking hard though.

you're almost right about not having the grunt to backup the looks, I think a scoob would have it off the mark....but once you hit three figures the power just keeps on coming.....

gear change seemed really "slack" aswell....still, it nearly caused three crashes just driving through the high street....

don't people know it's rude to stare.....

Cool

Cool, never seen it in any other colour than silver.

Had a blatt with one once. My impreza left it in the wet big style, especially on roundabouts. Don't know about the dry though!! They are a quick car

Looks tough.

Do you drive a rag top? (Hair loss!)

Apologies for the cheek, but I couldn't help it.

This car has the most road presence of anything that sorta size. They're just fabulous.

I'm sure they're just ready for tuning up to the real potential of the 3 litre lump. But the handlings already tricky, apparently, so would you want more?

(of course you would)

Marvellous nutty cars. You've gotta love Renault.

Hmmm, yes ok the V6 might not be as quick off the mark as a Scooby, but barring a 22B or a P1, IMHO I know which one I'd have...when you're spending that kind of money you don't want to see half a dozen cars the same as yours on the way to work.

The big plus with the Clio V6 is that as far as power goes you're only just getting started with the 3.0 lump, there must be plenty more to come even if you just look at normal tuning methods before you even have to look at forced induction.

Hi all
having been in the fortunate position to build the prototype engines for these cars, and now for the last 7 months on car build
I havebeen able to drive these cars on a regular basis. The red car
is one of three, this one is a uk press car,one is abandoned in TWR'S graveyard, the third car is a motorshow car. There are two gorgeous blue cars, one owned by TOM WALKINSHAW,the other is an SVO car which also gose to motorshows. The best way to get more power is via a phase two inlet system and different cams. For those lucky enough to have £26000 for a clio V6 wait 12 months for the phase two cars, they handle much better,go better and look a lot nicer.
The cars still lack an lsd, sequential box,etc etc but still alot
of fun bob
