Wink

Owl: no those aren't the OE plates, the OE lamps are moulded plastic, and have the "brackets" moulded on.
Also, Owl: YHM

Stefan: Get some Hammerite on those brackets, m8, pronto, and some grease down the screw holes! You'll give Scoob owners a bad name:

Question

Just got home to find my new PIAA's have arrived, Now reading a thread about fitting them it says in the kit there should be some prodrive style mounting plates and guess what I aint got any. Is the kit supplied all i need to fit them or do i have to go out and spend some more cash behind our lasses back???? I have a MY99 if it makes any difference.

Cheers

Steve.

Thumbs up

When you remove the OE foglights, they're held on by 3 bolts, one of which (outer, lower) also holds on the indicator.
Just have a look at the kit, check out what it's supposed to mount with, and then remove one foglight, (about 10 min's work with a small socket and extension bar) and see if it's gonna fit. If not, contact the dealer you bought from.
I'd have thought you won't need anything else with that car.

Does this make anymore sense?

The plates are these L-shaped ones that mount the lamp to the bumper.

LOL @ Alcazar,

I drive my car m8; I don't spend ours polishing it just to pose like the rice boys

I've got some hammerite, so I'll take your advice

Steve,

Those are the PIAA brackets as fitted to my MY99 RB5. Should be the same kit as yours.
