Very easy mate, gear **** is threaded and the gear stick surround is held on with little holes in the rubber base that go on little plastic pegs under the plastic trim, unscrew the plastic trim screws and slightly lift to push the down and off the pegs

and i'm assuming the gaiter is the leathery bit i'm needing http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...item4159d73e8e too?

I used to have a red/silver Momo **** and red gaiter on mine.

The gaiter was a cheapy from the local car-shop, cost all of £7.50. It was slightly short, so I unpicked the bottom stiching and fitted it by boring holes, fitting it over the pegs on the plastic trim and replacing the plastic washers with bits of styrene sheet, from a model shop, welded in place with a solvent called plastic-weld.

That plastic trim prodriverules mentioned? undo two screws at rtear and lift it. If a centre glove box is fitted, screws are under covers at front of g/b.

Still got the red gaiter but with a standard 6-speed **** now.
