Default Oil Pressure gauge.

Hi guys,

Has any1 fitted 1 of these to there bugeye. if so how difficult is it.

Easy enough, the oil pressure sender is under the alternator, you'll need to remove it, fit an LMA extension adaptor, then plug the old sender, and the new one into it. Then run the wiring into the cabin, i used the radio power for the gauge.
The other option is to fit a sandwitch plate to the oil filter, and plug the sender into this.

thats right,the extension adapter is readily available from ebay.They dont really rate the sandwich plated from the filter as its supposed to be a less accurate reading,just what ive read..

You can use the sandwitch plate for a oil temp gauge too, but i understand the no3 cylinder blank is better as the temp is highest there.

What is a extension adaptor and does it goes by a different name as can't find any on e-bay

This kit has the oil temp adaptor too.
