Default prosport gauges

looking at getting 3 prosport gauges,,just a bit confused do i need mechanical or electrical?
i have an 04 sti

theyre electrical anyway mate...they use electrical senders for measurements that plug into the back of the gauge

They do a mechanical boost gauge but it doesn't get the opening/closing ceremony.

I'd personally go for the electrical fella , i've just fitted three prosport stepper gauges into mine and they seem to work a treat

I'd agree with that !! Fitted the Prosport gauges ( including an electrical boost gauge ) and they work a treat. Really easy to do too and I am far from an expert !!

cool thanks for the replies guys im going electrical then,,do i need anything else or is it just the gauges

the gauges come with everything to fit

deffo go electical, had a mechanical boost gauge in the past and the noise it made drove me round the bend

Dont forget to buy the oil temp adaptor and oil pressure adaptor fella , you can use what they call a sandwich plate but imo and many others its not the best/most accurate piece to use ,

cheers mate I made it , i got three single pods and used the oe pillar , then finished it in a light grey flock ,

I just wanted them somewhere whats not the obvious choice (the clock consol) and couldnt finr one with 3 pods etc .
