Under engine braking, around -20mmHg vacuum. Idle is less (sorry).
Max boost in cold weather should peak about 15.5-16 at settle at 14-15ish. I have a K&N kit, and a scoobysport back box...

Mines standard MY99 but with a full Magnex SS decat system and I've hit 1.1 bar peak yesterday, generally holds around 0.9 bar Otherwise up till it hit 1.1 it was peaking around 1.0 bar. However, the gauge has only been in since sat and I haven't been able to give it some yet as I had new brakes fitted too.....

My new Defi is calibrated in Kg/Cm2 which I'm told is all but Bar. As in Bar = 1.019716 Kg/Cm2. Is that correct?
Converting to psi is proving more controversial, if Bar = 14.8 psi as Dave says. But when I convert Bar to psi off my tyre pressure gauge, Bar = 14.52 psi as a best guess. Can someone put me out of my misery, please? Tar.
For the record, my gauge peaks at 1.3 Kg/Cm2, and holds at 1.15. If Dave is right, and my Bar/Kg.Cm2 conversion is right, that's peaking at 18.9 psi and holding around 16.7 psi. I recall somewhere (John Banks, I think) that my PPP ECU cuts boost at 19.3 psi, which is scarily close It was nearly freezing though, and atmospheric pressure v high.
My car is a UK00, with PPP, de-cat ScoobySport down-pipe and mid-section, plus ITG panel filter.
Richard.

1.0kg/cm2 = 0.98 BAR
1BAR = 14.502PSI
PEAK BOOST IN PSI
1.3kg/cm2 x 0.98BAR = 1.274 BAR
1.274BAR x 14.502psi = 18.47psi Your peak boost in psi is 18.47
HELD BOOST IN PSI
1.15kg/cm2 x 0.98BAR = 1.127BAR
1.127BAR x 14.502psi = 16.34psi Your held boost in psi is 16.34
Cheers,
WREXY.
