Been with them a few years and always seem to beat everyone on their quotes.
This year was £507 on my MY02 UK STI with Mod's (exhuast, filter, coilovers, paint work, wheels).
Oh hang on, my wife no longer has a car and the Scoob is Garaged every night.
Up to £595
Oh hang on, I have home insurance with them so a discount is added.
Down to £528
Oh and I'm renewing online, have another £20 off
So now £508

Typically I change insurers every year anyway, always save some money and get a bit of cash back however last year I had to stick with Aviva as I didn't have time to search for a new quote due to my Dad being unwell.
So this time as I'd changed car I was expecting it to be a bit higher but nearly £900, bit of time on the comparison sites and I got it below £500 with AXA so took a policy from them. Ring Aviva to give them the good news and suddenly discounts are coming everywhere, got home insurance with us, that's 10% off, wife got her own car, more off, etc. They got close but still couldn't beat it. Begs the question though why not quote the best you can to begin with but I guess so many just renew year on year without questioning it.
