Good: Telephone manner.
Bad: Knowledge of legal matters, and fob-off reasons why the insurance costs so much. (£1600+ renewal compared to £899 elsewhere)

good = not a thing
bad = now where do i begin......... basically i had a claim with them which was not my fault, it was disputed and it took their legal team 2 years of telling me to forget it, accept the loss of no claims discount and £700, because they could not do their job properly.
In the end I took the guy to court on my own, won my no claims back and got my money back.
I would never in a million years consider insuring anything through admiral again. Strongly advise against them. If you want more info pm me.

Admiral are absolute cack.
They made a clerical error cancelled my insurance without telling me earlier this year, the only reason I found out about it was that they re-funded part of my years insurance back to my credit card.
There had been a two week period where my scoob was un-insured and I was not aware!
When I approached them I was put through to a call centre in India who were no help whatsoever so I re-insured with someone else and complained to Admiral who gave me some more money to shut me up.
Complete rubbish IMHO.

Hmmm, I've no complaints but I've done nowt except pay my renewal each year. Even negotiated and extra 50 quid discount this year as I'm away from home most of the week. Been with them 5 yrs now, 500'ish quid fully comp, full no claims, 39 yrs old and lowest post code region in UK

They've been good for me over the last couple of years, not that I've had to deal with them for a claim.
They / Elephant gave me the cheapest quote for My 97 uk turbo but the additional premium i've been charged when i changed vehicle, was comparible to the quote they gave me if i was new business.... go figure...
anyhow 3 months till renewal, see how smoothly that goes!
