I'm after subs but not that fill the boot like I had in my old BMW with a bl**dy great box with 2x12" subs!!

What about this?
Install as far as I can remember -
Head unit -
Pioneer DEH - P9100R
MP3
Mstation
Front doors
Infinity Reference 655CS
Rear
Infinity 6x9's
Amp for interior
Kenwood KAC-946
Sub -
Kenwood enclosed 10", Kenwood box with Kenwood amp mounted inside it!!!
Neat little sub as it has been wired to unplug and remove.

Nice install Fizz
I like the sub with the amp inside the box. Is there another way of securing it without the use of bungee cords? I would also like the idea of taking it out when needed. Also is that a multi-play on the load hatch or the amp?
Cheers

Any suggestion on speakers?
I've pretty much chosen my head unit - Kenwood 7021 but I'm not sure on the speakers. I'm going to run off the head unit for power to begin with so I'll have 50w per channel to play with.
I'm I right in thinking 6" fronts and 61/2" rears?

Sorry to butt in Tim, but Fizz, have you thought of some kind of velcro? Its pretty strong, probably strong enough to stop your sub coming free (unless your really driving hard round those bends!) and its very cheap!

Fizz, where did you get the blanking thingy that you slotted under the head unit.
In the past I glued the carpet onto the cardboard thing it rests on and then used velcro to secure the sub to the carpet. It worked!

I'll just butt in with my usual caution about velcro: it ain't good enough. If you have to brake suddenly, it will come loose.
I would not like to bet my life, or more accurately the health of anyone sitting in the back seats, on those catches holding the seat closed if given a mullering...
secure your subs
