Angry CD stuck in player! HELP!

Tried to eject the CD from the player but all it makes is a noise and the front panel stays closed with CD still playing. Have tried turning the unit on/off and also turned engine off and then tried again but have had no success. No info in the instruction manual either. Can anybody help? Unit is a Blaupunkt Seattle flip front.

Sometimes my Blaupunkt LA does this when it gets a CD it doesn't like however switching it off at the ignition, waiting a second then back on whilst pressing the eject always seems to cure it. Have you tried that?

Like you're going to let some spotty oik play with it

Try Yell.com for a local ICE specialist. Hope you have better luck than me though, those round here are distinctly unhelpful.

Another one for you to try, unplug the unit from ALL +12v, or remove the fuses to the unit, leave the unit unplugged for a min or two, then replace the fuses or plug the unit back in, this should reset the unit.
