Jase,

Dunno if it helps, just looked at the back of the original cd/tape/radio double din thingy that recently came out of my UK supplied MY03 blobeye wrx and it has no RCA pre outs. It has a din cd shuffler connector, the subaru loom connector and a tel. mute lead. Hope that helps.

Nige.

Don't bother looking, they're crap, changing the head unit for a decent one should be the first thing you do, before adding an amp.

My local garage took a pos and neg off the left and right outoputs and fed that to the amp, it works fine. But no on/off auto feature for the amp to turn on or off.

If you can live with that it works fine.

Seriously if you are planning on an amp, you'd be better upgrading the standard headunit first. It'll save you a lot of hassle in the long run and it'll have all the proper amp connections such as remote (for switching on and off) and RCA outs. You'll notice a huge difference in sound just upgrading the head unit.
