Decent headunit - say a top of the range Alpine
DynAudio speakers at the front
If nothing too heavy then a couple of 2*10inch DLS subs
Run the Subs off a Genesis Miniblock
Run the Fronts off say a 4 channel - Channels bridged - then if you dont want the subs at a later date you can fit in 6*9's and use the 4 channel to run less power at the fronts and power up some 6*9's
You'll also need to put Dynamat in the doors and preferably the Boot
The Subs should be facing upwards for maximum Bass - I know I've tried all the positions!
Oh and aa cap would come in useful
Cost will be fairly conservative:
Headunit £530 from Letsbuycaraudio
DynAudio - £400
Subs in box - £600
1 Farad - £130
4 Channel - £600
Miniblock - £600
Rolls of Dynamat - £200
Cables, etc - £200
Labour - quite a bit! - probably looking at about £3750 for this lot - like I said - pretty cheap

Having changed from Dyns to these I made a big mistake - they sound all tinny and lack bass....personal choice though......
Hmmm you can certainly get a decent head unit cheap though if you look around.
£375 for the headunit Kryten?
£150 for the Dyns?? (how come yours were £500 - the rrp on mine was £380)
