Default s215

okay lads,

So as I am sure you are aware i am running an s206 turbo technics turbo at the moment

So im starting to get blue smoke when coming on boost and have some shaft play in the turbo.

So im thinking about upgrading the turbo to the s215 variant, Does anyone else run one of these? What power does it make? what rpm do i get boost etc on it?

Cheers lads!

Bet its rapid, i can only imagine how quick that is until about 3 weeks, i considered both these turbos for my project, i would of thought that the 206 being much lyk a gt30 that the 215 should be on par with a gt35.

I could be way off but just a thought ;-)

Dont most gt30s make less than 500?

To ne honest i think it spools alot better than a 30 by looking at previous graphs etc

depends on turbine sizes really, look at the fp red for example, derived from a 3076r 600whp capable even fp green based on a 3071 and 500whp capable

Speak with Alan or MartynJ@EngineTuner about the turbo upgrade,I'm not sure if you will make more with S215,but this thread should helps

https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...hat-turbo.html

I would probably go with Rotated SC GT30+ and this turbo should make nice 600bhp with supported mods

Was trying to avoid going rotatted or any other form of turbo,

Am happy with the s206 but it requires a rebuild and got the option of going for the 215 upgrade for not alot more money so i was trying to see if there are any results of thee about!
