Default Battery has died....recommendations?

Afternoon all!

I need a new battery as mine has died. I have a 2005 wrx and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations short of going to halfrauds?

Cheers!

I agree with steveboxer, check out auto motor factors in your area, normally based in industrial estates, they are a lot cheaper mate and will have a good selection.

Bosch Silver S5.
Changed the OE for this in MY07 RB320, as it struggled to crank in the cold after just 2 years.
The Bosch S5 has been in now for almost 4 years & shows no sign of struggling!!

Oh & it only cost me about £45 from Costco

Go for exide I've had more warrantys with the likes of Bosch and banner I've personally had 2 banner batterys in less than 8 months and their oe on Porsche etc when I skip it il be going back to exide as its a far better unit the premium has thicker plates which helps a lot I had one on my evo and it sat for weeks in the snow and still started my banner sat a week in the sun and shat itself

I've never had a Bosch battery, that I've installed in my cars, fail on me in all my 14 years of driving. I believe the correct unit for your car will be a Bosch Blue S4, which comes with 4 year guarantee.
