Default TMIC or FRMIC

Is it worth going front mount? Whats the best option?

depends what bhp your running, not really worth it until your running around 350 - 400
i fiited fmic on mine and all i got was lag, LOL

deuff setup then matey.

once set up correctly they wont bring on any noticable lag.

But htat said, does depend on setup

When you say set up what do u mean? thought it was just a case of piping it up and making sure there are no leaks? Does it require a map/tweak?

fuel pressure regulator
440c injectors
baileys
full decat
hks power flow

about to head to sccoby clinic for remap at the end of the month just trying to see if its worth getting the fmic fitted before hand

Ah, give them a ring and discuss it, will prob add soem time to the job so may need the car for longer, they will be able to advise if its worth it or not.

what is the car by the way? classic, new age, wrx, sti?

95 wrx classic import.

ill see what they say! Might just fit it anyways, it cant do any harm?

The tmic on the early classics is pretty crap though, fmic would be the easiest route rather than a later top mount. I would ditch the baileys dv and get a re-circ valve and this will save you changing it later

What Banny say's is true. I'd personally look for a STi 8 onwards topmount. Works well and you don't have the associated lag that a FMIC will give you.

Direct replacment or some modification needed? Just been browsing the net for an upgraded model.

Change the IC, you need to get a map, or get a dyno run with afr , check
