2.1 or 2.35

The 2.3 will spool faster but will cost a little more due to the extra cost of the block.
The component parts after that are much the same in price.
For 600 and beyond, budget for headwork, cams, valve springs etc.

You do realize that building a 2.35 is mega expensive certainly vs a 2.1?! All the best builds seem to be 2.35 though ...
Search for some posts by FredW as he has a 2.35.

Hi D
2.1 you have more options with internalls and better setup. 2.35 is the way to go if you are hunting spoolup with big turbo and power.
Obviously its your bisuness however take into account the whole package and costs, all depends where you want to end up.
When you know where you want to be then you have your answer, you have a decent block as standard and can run that with correct package to produce respectable output. As you are aware when you want to go all the way then the C.D.B is the way to go.
Feel free to pick my brain anytime.
Stephen.

I thought long and hard about this question and felt the 2.35 would future proof me for anything i wanted, the blocks are around 800 quid more to buy and the internals around 500 quid more than a 2.1 but if you are going rotated just bite the bullet.
