Default classic impreza died and wont start

hi guys ive just rebuilt my impreza engine. i blew the bottom end so replaced it with a sti botom end. i had the car running yesterday and it started first time with no problems. ive used it thismorning and came home. when i went to go out in it again it started then cut out. i now have no spark and no fuel pump.

Ive wired the fuel pump to a 12v supply and it works
Ive checked all fuses under the bonnet and by the drivers footwell

has anyone got anything i can try or know how to solve this problem

Thank you all in advance

It does sound like either a earth hasn't been put back properly or its the crank or cam sensor but I would be 90% sure of a earthing issue
