Default Advice on making a homemade wind splitter!

Struggling to find a apr front wind splitter for a decent price so got me thinking about making my own, i have seen it done before and what can a sheet of carbon do that a sheet on ply or plastic cant

Obviously carbon looks better but its for the track so looks dont really bother me.

This type of thing http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/f...4.html?image=5

Wondering if anyone knows of a good material or a good method of doing it?

Or anyone done it?

Plywood is good but make sure it doesn't get too hot. You could try covering the top of it in reflective tape.

Easy enough to do...

Plus you get the smug satisfaction of knowing it's all your own work
