whislting noise when on boost????
recently had a fmic and hks intake fitted and now the car has developed a high pitched whislting noise when on full boost?
hoping its a leak around the induction somewhere but cant find it!
Any ideas????

Not pushing it due to still waiting for re-map so finding it hard to pin-point as its only happens on full boost and not a good idea to let it boost without remap.

Not normal I wouldn't say, being mapped next week so hopefully that will sort it, double check all the pipes again.

Get a spray bottle and mix some washing up liquid with water and with engine running spray a section and then get someone to rev it. Any bubbles will show where the leak is.
What dump valve are you using? If a open to atmos might need adjusting as boost is opening it slightly.

Some induction kits do just make some crazy noises so maybe just the hks sucking in so much air?
Mines doing something similar at the moment but not as loud as yours by the sounds of it, I'm pretty sure mines a leaky up-pipe as I have a panel filter
