no such car as a "colin mcrae v ltd 555 wrx sti "
youve got three cars in one line there! lol
the series mcrae was a uk car only
the sti v limited was import only numbered xxx/555 the wrx v limited xxx/1000
the 555 cars (yes they had mcrae on the seats) were not numbered.

thats pre face lift info^ by the way.
very easy to confuse a 555 with a v limited and even easier to confuse a wrx v limited with a sti v limited.
the amount of wrx v-limted ive seen on ebay advertised as stis when they are not.

Hi. According to the reg of this car, it's been first time registered in UK 21.03.2007 exactly one week earlier than mine (28.03.2007), and my reg is N102 PYO :-)

47,000 GENUINE MILES
Unlikely given the state of the steering wheel. My classic has done 30k miles and the torino wheel is fresh as a daisy ! tbh whoever did the clocks could have put his finger in the air and guessed any low number going on the alignment of the numbers during the KM's conversion. Also has a newage 5speed ****
Engine looks like it's either been out or someones had a can of crinkle on the manifold, although the throttle body looks too shiney to me, which often reeeeks of a sh1tty SMR engine ! Not 'that' clean IMHO and not 3k's worth either
It's not a V-Limited unless it has the signed seats and numbers badging inside and outside the car. Looks like a plain V2 STi which may or may not be 555 depending on the Option Code.
I'd give 2.5k for it subject to viewing but given the extent of mods you'll have to make to it to make it better I'd be inclined to shop around for a less 'cash hunter' version of an STi 2
