Default safe to run dumpvalve less on vf48??

As title says. Can you run dumpvalve less with a vf48? if you can run dump valve less, Does it shorten the life of turbo a lot?

anyone ever have turbo failure from running dump valve less?

any info would be great

should be ok but dont quote me on that, they say the vf34 onwards are ok to run valveless and yes it will have some effect on the life of the turbo to. if you can afford to replace the turbo if it goes wrong then do it. ill be testing my vf48 on antilag

no issues with dumpvalvless on the vf48.. done at least 20k miles with mine.. with plenty of anti lag! etc. havnt noticed a bit of difference or the turbo weakning.

thats nice to know, do you run a egt probe to keep an eye on the temps

I would of thought with a re-circ that air goes back through the turbo the right way and still has nowhere to go but back through the turbo the wrong way or that it heads back towards the air filter and blocks new air the turbo is trying to suck through causing lag. Taking all this into account VTA seems the best option if you can map the running rich between changes element out.

New take on DVs?

Recirc will be much better than VTA in most,i've seen few run high bhp with OE recirc or Forge Recirc.

Indeed, spool is improved on gearchange I have found. TD05 16g deleted some 3 years ago with out issue

nah syvecs takes care of that for me
