Oil question .....!
Silkoline Pro 10w-50 or Silkoline Pro 5w- 40
Which one would you choose out of the two ? and why ?

Sorry, its on mine 99 RB5 WR Sport, standard at the moment other than an air panel filter.
I usualy use the pro s 10w-50, just wondering if its worth me changing grades as my next oil change is due.
It wont be standard for long though its soon to be mapped (by sept @ latest) and a vf34 going on.

10-50 for me Matt / Olly at RCM said put the stuff in my car..... and that's good enough for me

yea the last bottle i had was the fuchs titan the renamed one, looks like i'll stick with that then.

Rb5 Is a UK car? If so...
Stick with what the people who designed the engine recommend in the Subaru handbook... 10w/40
A nice fully synthetic Millers oil is what I used in my UK turbo and ran beautiful.

Hasn't fitted it yet though so might as well stick with manufacture recommendations oil wise until then.

Always used Silkolene/Fuchs 5w 40 ester synthetic in MY07 RB320!
