after sum turbo info
ive got a 98 V4 sti import, i thort it was totally standard until i had the IM off and saw that it had an IHI turbo, would this be a VF??.....is this the standard turbo for my car or upgrade??? any help would be appreciated, thanks

ihi turbos were on those standard but theres loads of different variations, vf22-48 not necessarily every number between but could be any of these if its been modded, it will be etched on usually

oh rite, im new to all this subaru business! dont kno much about them yet i bought mine and 7hrs later it over heated on the motorway doing the naughty side of 150....whooooooops! Now its in bits awating a head gasket and thers also a ticking noise coming from the top end......any ideas on what it could be??? and please ppl, save the lectures on driving fast please, im only a young lad lol
