fuel gauge always reads half!!
ive got a 2001 bugeye wrx, my fuel gauge always stays at half full, ive removed the fuel pump/sender from the tank and inspected the float it moves freely! is there any way i can check the gauge on the dash to make sure thats not at fault?

hi there,
yes if you can locate the fuel gauge feed wire, inside multiplug to tank NOT THE 12V FEED to tank, then you can by using a tester, earth the wire out and gauge should shoot up and read full, please be carefull with wiring tho.
other than that, remove sender from tank, reconnect multiplug and slowly move float, as someone watch's gauge. hope this helps. mike
