make sure u get a good 1 cause i bought a f1 racing stage 3 of ebay which said capable of 400 or so but hasent lasted a month, ive got a my00 with front mount, vf 35, 550 injectors, fpr, k&n, headers, full decat, lighten flyweel, heat 8 ngk plugs, simtek ecu with anti-lag. my headers had a slightblowat the time of rolling road and map 2 which lost me power soreallyisrunning more, it was rollingroad tested at 1.3 bar but once manifold was fixed it is running 1.5 bar and also feels faster, would say 360ish

At the power level you are aiming for there is no need for a forged engine. BTW I do not know what a forged bottom end is.
550cc injectors, bigger/better turbo and either ported headers and matched uppipe or possibly tubular headers with special uppipe, subject to what turbo you go with and what emphasis you place on spool and response.
At that point you have the most sensible power for the least expenditure before you will have to go internal on your current engine.

I would leave it as it is, 340bhp on a classic is about perfect.

The next step up is a big one imho and would require a lot more ££££s.
