Default wheres my dipstick !

hi all, my owners manual states i should have a manual gearbox dipstick on my 2001 bugeye impreza gx non turbo but after several checks it cant be found.
Does my model have a manual transmission dipstick ?

Left hand side under the intercooler.

no intercooler on non turbo models.
But thats the area i have mainly been looking at.

It should show you in the handbook, but its basically at the back, near centre (as its above the gearbox) just offset to the left a little
its metal with a loop, not brightly coloured so hard to see sometimes

thats where i have been looking but it looks only the wrx has 1.

You should have one, just look for the pipe if you cannot see the stick itself

just took the air box off to see better and it definately doesnt have a dipstick or tube, its completely sealed.

thanks for the help though. Maybe someone has fitted a different gearbox to the car.

The airbox? Do you mean the intercooler? It's not under any airbox........

The OP has got a N/A Impreza hence the 'airbox' instead of the Interwarmer.

yep its non turbo
had a mechanic look at it also and he cant find it either.
maybe they are only on the turbo models except sti.

in the same place everybody on here is saying it as on their trubo models.
but im pretty sure it is not there on non turbo models, but if it is i wana find it ! haha
