STI.7 Which engine oil and spark plugs are the best?

Like everything there is so much choice out there...my STI.7 is due a change of engine oil, the previous owner only ever used shell Helix but with names like Millers and Silkolene on the market the choice is difficult.

Also i might change the spark plugs at the same time, the engine is standard but i am thinking of a remap in the near future so could you advise on which plug is best...

Hello mate,

What power etc are you running?

Plugs wise no point going 7's unless your running a bit more power to be honest mate.

if your car is running standard at the moment i would use standard plugs 6's i think .as for oil in a standard car i would good quality 10.40 fully synthetic

thanks for your help guys..the car is still 265 bhp but due a tax rebate so it wont be for very long .. will 7,s be ok though as dont want buy twice..cheers
