alright mate it depends how oing its been there really mate, they can be pretty stuck on there, all you have to watch is you dont warp or bend it when trying to remove it,just work your way round slowly and ease it down mate

If you're doing this as an on-car job, the real problem is getting to the row of bolts along the back of the sump. Very hard to access, even if you raise the engine up a couple of inches as suggested in a couple of old threads in search.

its a pig of a job. getting the bolts out is easy with a bendy socket extention.
getting the sump out past the headers and oil cooler is a bitch. i had to undo the engine mount nuts jack up the engine and even then it was tight.

There's no very easy way. The best you can hope for is to unbolt the engine from the center brace, so you can raise it an inch or two to give you slightly more clearance past the brace to the bolts. It'll still be awkward though, as the rear bolts are virtually impossible to see.

undo 2 engine mounts underneath
undo engine mount under intercooler
jack up via front off gearbox engine will raise more than enough for access
undo all bolts back row are hard to get to but very possible
once undone should more or less pull off.
clean up very well with petrol and dry off with brake cleaner and reseal with threebond 1215

remember to drain oil before hand lol

^^ Yes this. Sometimes the manifold will need to come off (especially aftermarket headers). Also, make sure you put the drain plug back in after the oil has drained out. Otherwise the last 1/4 quarts goes all over the place!
