Default headgasket thickness

i have 98wrx and was just wondering what thickness headgaskets do i need to put in as seeing quite a few different thicknesses

IIRC, it's 1.6mm composite gaskets for a 98 UK Turbo/WRX

Yeah, I think all MY93-98 variants have 1.6mm HGs.

Get STI v.1-4 ones. They're mulit-layer steel and are far, far better than the fibre composite UK/WRX things...

Yes. I'm led to believe the less malleable metal jobs are far less tolerant to 'gaps' and let boost past and fail in short order.
