Default Fuel Consumption worries WTF

Hi all

noticed over the last 3 weeks that i am getting between 50-55 miles out of a £10 splash of fuel, i am sure i used to get closer to 90-100. This morning after topping the car up yesterday morning with another £10 i was pissed off to drive to work this morning with the low fuel light on after 40 miles?

any ideas of anything to check???

Does sound about right - begs the question why are you putting in £10 splashes of fuel? You'll spend more time in petrol stations and waste fuel driving back and forward to them..

the minimum i put in now that the scoob is weekend use only is £25. When it was doing a 1000 mls a month i used to fill it up to the brink. that way its easier to keep an eye on fuel consuption plus only need to fill up once a week

Now stop being a tight wad and put some more juice in lol

You're obviously not driving it right, I get about 35 miles for £10 of petrol.

I had Low MPG and over fuelling issues.. replaced both Lamda's was getting 17-18mpg at the time with very careful driving, the drive also felt like it was always bogging down at low revs...

since replaced the sensors im up to 26/27mpg with mixed driving... £61 (brimmed Tank) = 292miles

Car is 2001 bug Eye WRX wagon (Stock)

hope this helps give you some point of reference bud...

I got 196 miles from a fuel tank of V-power the other day. I was pretty happy with that.

If you moan about the fuel ur in the wrong car sell it and get something that will do good mpg or keep the car stop bitching about the fuel and enjoy the drive

I do around 1,200 miles a month in mine and I love every mile of it
