injector / rail replacement

hi im planning removing inlet manifold for refurbishment. i manage ok with the spanners done my own clutch, timming belt, gearbox swaps etc.
im a bit concerned about fiddling with fuel rails after some high profile cars have gone up in smoke due to spilt fuel.
are injectors easy enough to remove/replace without damaging seals. i will get new seals for peace of mind but wondering if they are a very tight fit with possibility of snagging the seals etc?
any hints/tips/info appreciated. thanks.
it will be phase 2 classic manifold btw.
