You can fit any VTA BOV to either MY93-96 or a MY97/98, regardless . You just need an appropriate sized silicone reducer joining hose and a couple of jubillee clips.

But, I'm guessing by your question, you've already bought the Bailey bespoke fitting kit, right?

Yeah it'll work fine on your MY97/98. As said you just need an appropriate sized silicone hose to fit the DV's inlet port to the TMIC's DV elbow.

You DID connect up the DV's vac nipple to the inlet manifold with some vac pipe, didn't you?!

The baileys dump valve you have should be a dv26,which as said above connects to the pipework coming from the intercooler. This is the same dumpvalve for all subaru's from 1993 to till 1998,so it should fit with no probs. However more people seem to have more problems with the weak springs with the baileys than most other dumpvalves

As eluded to above, TBH mate, you're better off bunging (pardon the pun) the Bailey in the bin (or try to sell it), and then returning to the OEM black platic recirc one (or Forge's all-metal pattern replacement).

Your engine and ECU will thank you for it.................
