i keep getting mixed different responses on whether to have it covered up by mesh or to leave it uncovered???
what are peoples views on this and what have you got if you have a fmic???
also, where do you get the mesh from???ive seen some in halfords, would this do the job..

I left mine, cores can be replaced, grilles can look good but invariably don't

Mesh in halfords is tacky leave it un covered show it off

looked at those, but they dont seem to show much fmic, if you know what i mean....looks like the naked look..just need to sneak it out from the spare bedroom now......

Mesh will reduce the core efficiency.
If you have a Hybrid core there is no need for a mesh grill and I expect much is the same for many other cores. Fitting a mesh is more a fashion statement.
