Default Need help fitting Perrin Recirc BOV...

Hi,

Recently brought a 2nd hand Perrin Recirc BOV and now I'm having difficulties fitting it...

My scooby is a Blob WRX but with upgraded STi TMIC.

I took the bung out (as it had a Baileys BOV fitted) and fitted the bottom part of the Perrin, but when I tried to tighten the 2 bolts it seems like the head of the BOV is hitting the pipe work going cross the TMIC.

The guy who sold it to me had it fitted to a 05 Blob STi, only reason he sold it as he fitted a FMIC...

I searched every where and they all say it should fit the 01-07 TMIC.

Questions:
1. Does the pipes across the STi sits further back to the IC? - if so I might need to source the STi pipe work...
2. Should there be some kind of spacers for this to work with the WRX?

Thanks and in advance,

J

Joel,

you need to remove the breather rail. The kit may have come with a fitting kit when new etc?

Unbolt the x4 bolts on the STi TMIC. Take the Breather rail off.

The two pipes on your left hand side get a y-piece (got one in my garage you can have) and run a pipe under the STi TMIC to the one on the right which is your crank get a bit of copper pipe and x2 cable ties and away you go mate.

It's pretty easy matey.
