Have you already had a remap and just need a tears to it? Or do you need a remap from scratch?
I had an already licensed ecuteked ECU, and had a fresh remap for £280. Including the license fee for ecutek, it varies from £500+ depending on what your mapper charges and if it's going to be done on the road/rolling road.
Other ECU options are more expensive and the above is for my99-00 cars as you've not even said what car/MY you have. Can't really help when the information is so sporadic

If not mapped before on ecutek you will have to pay the licence fee of £300... Then whatever the mapper charges u for his services expect to pay in the region of £500+
Expensive but worth it with the right mods

Hey, I have already had the car mapped so licence was paid, just looking to put on a fmic for asthetic reasons more than anything (I have been through the tmic/fmic argument as many times as the next man!) but I am aware it will need a tweak.
Also wanted to ask the mapper to get a few more pops and bangs in there!

I think last time I paid for a licence it was 150+vat last year . But as said personally I think it will work out more cost effective to go the the original mapper far as I'm aware mappers can't read other mappers maps ( if that makes sense ) so a different mapper may after start from scratch

Yeah unless you use your previous mapper you'll be looking at around £500 for a new license and fresh map as they would start a fresh Tgats my understanding from using Bob Rawle with ecutek

No need for a new licence, the licence remains within the ecu.
A new mapper will have to map it from scratch as
A) you cant read the current map off
B) its best to do a complete map yourself as everyone works differently.
But mainly down to A.
Therefore it would be cheaper for the original mapper to tweak it as they will have a copy of the current map.
