Default 2.1 Stroker Where & Why

Right I am in the process of getting my car sorted but currently offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. The time difference working hours and telephone access are a pain so trying to do it all via email a media it seems most tuning companies/garages aren't keen to bother replying on.

My basic question is...Where is the best place for me to get a 2.1 stroker from?

I would prefer a built block so it is a straight forward swap for the guy who is currently working on the car.

I think also a CDB as it is stronger an more likely to last longer if I start to go wild but at present I think I'll be fairly happy when I hit the 380-400bhp mark for a daily/fun toy whilst on dry land. A few people have now mentioned to me that an ODB would be fine for that power figure but will it last a good bit of abuse as well?

With this in mind does anyone know where are the best places to try?

I'd appreciate good advice & reviews on places from you all so it is consolidated into one section here allowing me to maximise my spare time to then contact via phone and make arrangements rather than have to spend it trawling the net for no-one to bother replying to the emails I send them.

380-400bhp you would be fine with an open deck block. I think Engine tuner reccomend a CDB above 550bhp
