Newbie after advice.
Hi...
I have just bought a 2002 WRX and was just after a bit of general advice about its maintenance really as I have read all sorts of things over the net! Just basics really, like what fuel should I run it on and how often should it be serviced/oil changes etc and anything else useful to keep it in good nick!
Cheers, Tammy

Hi, WTTC. As far as fuel....Shell V power all the way
. Some people also use the Tesco stuff too though
What`s the mileage?

She's done 71k. Not long had a cambelt change and just had all the brakes done. The fuel thing has been confusing me because some people have said high octane and others that it doesnt matter - do you have to run it on high octane? Obviously I dont want to be doing her any damage!!!
Hi Tammy
You should have an owners handbook with the car which will tell you the service intervals, usually every 12 months or 12000 miles whichever come first, on a UK wrx.
The fuel type you should use for the car is also in the handbook. If you have, say a PPP fitted, then the recommendation is 98 octane/super unleaded.
I have run all my Impreza's on Tesco 99 or Shell V-Power, like most people on here! I hope you enjoy your car.
