Default Misfiring

Hello

Can anyone help?, my impreza has started playing up I think it might be the ignition leads but I wanted to ask before I start spending money.

Symptoms Car starts and ticks over fine, under normal/sensible driving driving all seems ok if I try to give it a little or take it on the motorway once I take it over 50 ish its starts to misfire/sputter a drives very lumpy. I had the plugs out over the weekend and all seem fine.

Mine was doing the same. 3 of the coil packs very damaged/ craked on the ends. (under the rubber bit). if thats any help. i think they were damaged when the garage changed plugs cause the bolt holding coil pack in was super tight, and only should really be nipped up.

Coil packs is prob your answer

Thanks for the responses guys i will post what the fault is once cleared.

Would it make a difference as mine has coil leads with the top mounted coil pack?

I know the plugs are good they are only 2 months old, I had them out to check and they looked all good.

So a set of leads it is,
