Have you added the rest of the PPP parts as well? If you fit the ECU without these I doubt you will gain anything, or could even cause damage the engine if the Walbro fuel pump is missing etc

AFAIK the full PPP parts list is:

Walbro fuel pump
Prodrive 100 cell CAT open-neck downpipe
Prodrive back box
3-port boost solenoid with revised boost pipes to avoid heat from turbo
Better intercooler Y-piece
Revised ECU map

why would anybody buy something and then ask if it will work? did you not do any research before you bought the thing? is the wiring loom the same? is the pin out the same, can the ecu be reprogrammed? your 03 STi is certainly not a WR1

The ECU will fit but boost control will be screwed using a 2 port on a 3 port map.

I recon your local subaru dealer would be able to order one, or any ECUTEK tuner as they are a common upgrade when you remap.

Don't goto Subaru for the 3 port, they'll fleece you for about £200. Try to source a 2nd hand one.

I had a look around and can't seem to see any for sale,I found a load of US sites selling them at around $100 so figured they wouldn't be too much new over here.

If you fit all the parts, you should be making same power as a WR1

My ecu in my wr1 has just decided to quit on the autobahn... Got a tow home, ran a diagnostic with no connection to the ECU.
Found a second hand ecu but is there someone that can reformat or repair my old one?
Is it a straight swap key in and go job or is there programming involved?
Thanks in advance.
