I have them on my car, personally I would just buy the new gaskets as well. They aint cheap though! I think i paid about £130 for the whole lot about a year ago.

I purchased my inlet manifold spacers from Carl Davey and you will need 4 gaskets not 2.

This is correct - the regular IM gaskets each side of both spacers!

They do drop the inet manifold temp quite a bit.
This can only be good!
Make sure you fit header tank insulators and do the throttle coolant bypass to!

last time I bought gaskets they were about £7.50 each so somewhere near £35 all in.

Im pretty convinced that insulating/raising the inlet manifold needs an earth from the block.

The inlet has an earth on the fuel filter side, and the block is earthed through the starter, and under the i/c, i've had no problems.

Is it best to go for stock gaskets or upgraded ones being more heat resistant?

The agency power gaskets are the same as the spacers were talking about, it's one or the other.

Not sure what you mean?
The inlet manifold bolts will need replaceing as the'll be too short.

Apparently on the newage there is a pipe which fits to the inlet manifold case, ill try and find the link on Nasioc.

Don't know how it applies to newage, but on my classic I've had issues with getting the turbo inlet pipe lined up properly after raising the manifold on spacers. Can't argue with the heat management side of things though. I had Carl Davey's spacers and the header tank stand-offs as well and they made a huge difference to IM temps.

Ive a new silicon one to fit at the same time so hopefully it should not be a problem, i read a US website scooby post that mentioned extending the EGB pipe but cant seem to locate it anywhere now. Hopefully some newage guys who have done this mod will be able to throw a little more light on the situation.

There was another thread about it, where someone had post up pics of how to do it, etc. A simple job...

The throttle body has a water feed to it, to warm it up when cold. These two pipes can be removed and joined together with a bit of pipe. It stops the cooled air being warmed, all be it a small amount, but every little helps!
I've not heard of anyone having problems with the removal of these pipes from the throttle, i've had no issues, even in the weather we've been having.
