Water in passenger footwell
Hi, I opened the car today to find water in the passenger footwell in MY99 Sport. It isn't a lot and most was sat on the rubber floor mat, but it was a bit damp underneath the mat as well.
Doesn't appear to be coolant as it is clear, and doesn't smell of coolant I am assuming as it has rained a lot overnight that is where it has come from, as it didn't do it before on a dry day. Car doesn't have a sunroof or aircon.
Saying that I did wash the car a couple of weeks ago on a dry weekend, and had the same problem the following morning. Anyone else had this problem?
Guessing that possibly one of the drains under the panel that covers the wiper motors may be blocked, but removing that panel without breaking the clips is a pain in the ****, as I had to do it before to repair the wiper motor linkage 18 months ago.

Their are loads more but after researching those the window seal seems to be a big problem. I think if the windscreen isn't replaced by a half decent company then it doesn't seal properly causing the footwell leaks.
Other culprits seem to be the robber grommets/bungs in the bulk head for wires and the a/c system. I have this exact same problem (only had car for a while) which got my feet and passengers feet wet when it rained heavily a few days ago. Going to get the the screen replaced on the insurance as am confident it's this after spending Sunday looking!

Cheers,
I took off the glove box housing last night so I could get a better view of the issue. Think it's related to the 4th link on the list "water-leak-help" and the last "water-leaking-into-car". This morning there was some water on the carpet. Having a feel around it was wet on the front of the housing for the heater fan, the front being the bulkhead side of the fan housing.
