Default starting Problem Please Help!! any ideas

for quite a while every other day or so - usually as the mrs picks the kids up after a short run, the car wont start just turns over ignition lights on everything seems ok. engine turns over without firing. leave it for a while up to 10 minutes or so and it fires up ok. someone mentioned the crank sensor/cam sensor so i changed them for good second hand ones!! , even though the check engine light is clear... i have just fitted 4 x bosch coil packs, (cheers Al), no change i hear the pump and get a wiff of fuel as it cranks over so i presume the fuels getting through. any idea's guys

MY 1994 wrx import. cheers guys

It could be the coolant temp sesor, when these start to fail they give the symptoms that you have.

Depends on how old your car is?

Under the bend in the strut brace there is a large black hose the sensor is in the block underneath that hose (orangey/brown colour)

I have the same problem, so for £25 will also change as everything else has been changed! Would this also cause over-fueling?? Ad on ebay reckons so...
