Default 95 wrx misfire,

Hey guys

My car has a really annoying problem. it revs to around 4500rpm and then the power drops off and it misfires and coughs and splutters. boost is also down,

I've had a walbro pump, new coils/plugs, fuel filter, tried swapping boost solenoid, map sensor all to no avail.....

anyone any ideas????

help much appreciated

Adam

check/replace cam and crank sensors and try cleaning out the idle control valve, i also had the same problem on a 93 wrx, i replaced all the coils, etc but after cleaning the cam + crank sensors and idle valve it was 100%

I agree with Scott sounds like the plugs gap could be too big causing it to get blown out
