Angry running like a dog on start up!!

hi i have a 93 wrx with a scooby ecu chip ,td05, open neck down pipe ,turbo up pipe, piper x filter, blitz bov, apexi pipe, and i`ve noticed just recently that the car runs like **** from start up coughs and splutters and hesitates but after a couple of minutes its sweet as a nut but it never used to do this and its just been serviced recently with new plugs to so if anyone out there could give me a little insite into what this problem may be i would be very greatfull as its really starting to get up my nose!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm having a very similar problem, and thats just been diagnosed as plugs, which ones did you have fitted?

mine were ngk iridium tipped with heat grade of 6 and apparantly it should have been heat grade 7, so we are going to change them and taske it from there

it doesnt matter what the tip is made of, it is more the heat grade and the gap that is important.

the iridium tip is supposed to give a stronger spark thats all, there aint much between em from what ive read, plus the iridium tipped ones have had some bad press, which is why mine are coming out tomorrow and being replaced by ngk pfr 7's.

the coolant sensor could be a problem, but i would expect the fans to cut in from cold, but dont rule that out either, only about 20 quid and ten minute job to replace.
