I personally wouldn't fit it as it's most probably mapped for Japanese fuel rather than uk fuel.
Also, what other mods had the car got that it was previously fitted too???

I've seen a few early classics rolling roaded and they do produce a nice amount of power upto 300bhp with various mods (whilst checking the fuelling etc)but you can't read the map on the chip (i've asked on here and no-one has either bothered or managed to crack them) and Mines won't give out any info about them, if you do need to change the chip it has to go back Japan and it's not worth the cost.
1 of my mates is running one at the moment and he drives his car hard all the time and he has had no problems but that doesn't mean yours will be alright.
The fuel isn't a problem imo it's the fuelling map which is the problem as it's aggresive hence the blown engines.
