Question What are the best tyres out now?

I'm getting to the point of having to replace my tyres again!

Due to this I would like to know what are the best tyres for everyday fast road use?

I know its a wide market, but in the past I have tried the cheaper option of Nankang , Pirelli P6000, Goodyear F1's but I keep going back to my trusted Yokohama AVS Sport (that I have on right now).

So please let me know what you think are the best and why so?

Many thanks

I've always liked the Yoko A520's. Decent handling wet or dry and hardwaring without effecting ride quality.

I love these great tyre

To Tommy.
If you like what you have on now, stick to them, different tyres give different levels of grip and handling characteristics, some people like their cars to be a bit "loose" some like out and out grip, if your happy with the yoko's then stay with em

Chers guys, i'll take your advice on board.

Just had a good offer on the Toyo T1R's....£369 for a full set of four.

I would stick to the Yoko's Tony but having major probs getting some.

I'll also look into the RE070's and see what their all about.

Thanks again.

My vote is for Michelin Pilot Sport Cups. But they're R-Compounds. They come on Porsche's from the factory tho So it could be argued that it's good for fast road. Might be a bit spendy tho. Probably 120 quid per wheel. Grip like crazy tho in the dry.

cheers
