No real problem, as you will have seen from looking around the engine bay.
1. Intercooler out
2. Heat shield off, thats the awkward bit.
3. You have two other securing points under the car, one on the engine and another just infront of the join to the center pipe.
WD40 all the nuts first and give time to soak. All going well they should still be usable, use sockets and ring spanners where poss, as open spanners can cause nightmares if allowed to slip.
4. Remember to slip off the coupling piece from the old down pipe to center pipe end, and fit to new pipe. Other wise you wont get a tight seal and will exhaust will blow.
5. Put a suitable collection mat under the car to collect any fallen bolts.
6. Refit.
7. Have loads of bandages ready for knuckle rash.
8. Do not talk to your misses till your finished. Not worth the arguments.
9. Keep all children and old ladies out of ear shot.
other than that, piece of ****, enjoy

A hell of an awesome flat 4 burble Just remember, you also need to have a few other mods for it all to come together. De cat center pipe, back box, loads to choose from and replacement filter or cold air intake. It all adds in little ponies to produce better horses.
At least 5-10% better.

If you are using drive up ramps then I would advise putting the car on them first and undoing everything underneath before removing the intercooler etc. I removed the intercooler and stuff first, then found I had to refit it all loosely to start the car to drive it on to the ramps.
