VF35 would probably be about the quickest spooling turbo good for 320bhp.

I sold one for £300, but if you want the fastest spool the TD04 is the one to go for but they will cost more.

I've got 330ish bhp from my td04 hybrid...
Bob Rawle was VERY impressed with it. Such a quick spool too

I was thinking of a TD04 hybrid or a VF35 when my TD04 died. I had the VF35 cos it was low mileage and cost me about £250 IIRC plus I was never going to want more than around 320bhp out of it and I like to lug it around at low revs anyway. Basically just a question of how much you want to spend I suppose.

I believe the VF28 (from a P1) will be good for 320 (no more though) and has very little lag. Can be had for very little money aswell

Vf28 is a very good turbo for the money at that sort of power level, it can go higher but it generally thought of as enough for 320 and excellent drivability

I did have a vf28, i have changed it now, was running 313bhp at 1.25 bar and that's without front mount, induction kit etc. I think they can achieve more than 320bhp.

There we go!!

AFP4H – is based on a TD04 this is available new or fully re-manufactured on an exchange basis. It is fitted with a new high efficiency, high flow rate compressor wheel and compressor housing which is capable of maintaining the fast spool up rate typically associated with the TD04 but with the ability to run higher boost efficiently over a wider rpm band. This turbo has been tested to levels in excess of 320lbft and 320bhp. With full boost still coming in as low as 2500rpm on a 2.0
