Default Phase 1 engine to phase 2 engine

I am considering fitting a phase 2 engine into my 1995 sti ra. I believe that the inlet manifolds are different, as are the coil packs and idle control valve. Basically, will the engine transplant be a right pain in the **** and difficult or would it be a fairly simple swap? Thanks for your help!

It would be a pain in the bum tbh, as to why you would want to loose the closed deck block, STI cams and solid lifter arangement is beyond me, as this is part of what makes the RA special

HTH

Yep. Bottom end gone, just been offered a phase two engine that has been built to a high spec that's all. Was thinking of just getting a brand new block as another option, maybe that would be better after all.

What part of the bottom end has gone? if it's just spun a bearing, I have a good crank here if that is any good to you, or is it somthing more serious? I think you will be pushed to find a new CDB tbh

I wouldn't go for a closed deck block, just normal open deck block. £1500 from main dealer for a P1 block. I'm not after loads of bhp, just a nice 320 as before!
