Default Remap yes or no??

Hey all

Got a my99 classic

vf23 turbo afterburner vortex backbox and centre decat and soon ninja decat downpipe.

My Questions is.

Is it really worth spending the £1000 on her for a remap and new clutch??

Really dont no wot to do will it be worth the dosh???

Have u guys with remaps declared it insurance wise and whats the fuel economy like after??

Cheers

with a change of turbo you will need a remap

where abouts are you ?

try david at APi (warwick) or Mark at Lateral Performance(watford ish) for a clutch
and try Bob Rawle(swindon) for the remap www.brdevelopments.com

as for insurance - have you told them about the bigger turbo ? it's more detectable than a tek3 remap

fuel wise - you will be getting more power and probably MPG by having it mapped , it will be mapped on whatever fuel is in it at the time,so stick to it. whether its V-power or 95RON

o right sorry thought you ment for just the map. If clutch is on way out gonna need a new one what ever, and def worth having the map with the different turbo.

mine was mapped by pat and goes like stink , get him to map pops and bangs into it for ya

lots of cars have slight clutch judder when cold. Do a search for this, it's not necessarily a sign that the clutch is on the way out.
